Yvonne Southward
Pet Care Assistant
Sale and Surrounding Areas
"Hi, I’m Yvonne - a lifelong animal lover with muddy boots, a pocket full of treats, and a heart that beats for furry companionship. Whether it’s a brisk morning walk with an energetic pup or a quiet cuddle session with a shy cat, I find joy in every wag, purr, and tail twitch. I’ve been caring for animals professionally for several years, and in addition, am a dog mum to Chester, our 3 year old, slightly anxious Labradoodle (who I swear has FOMO!)
I believe animals deserve not just care, but genuine connection, and I pride myself on building trust with even the most timid pets.
When I’m not walking dogs or feeding rabbits, you’ll find me reading about animal behaviour, exploring nature trails, or chatting with fellow pet parents. This isn’t just a job for me — it’s a calling, and I’m grateful every day to be part of so many animals’ lives".

"I enjoy working with animals and I am passionate about their wellbeing. Pets are an
important part of our family and I have grown up looking after various animals including tortoise, snakes, geckos, iguanas, tropical fish, rabbits, ferrets as well as cats and dogs.
My passion for animals has led me to begin an Animal
Behaviour and Conservation course at Manchester Metropolitan University in
September."

Beth Broomhall
Pet Care Assistant
Newcastle-under-Lyme
"I am based in Newcastle Under Lyme but grew up in Shropshire. I have always loved animals and have had many different pets over the years. From the cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and rats. I have helped my grandparents with walking their dogs and have helped to train them when I was there during the school holidays. I am happy to walk any type of dog, no matter the size. Also willing to walk greater distances with those dogs who just love a good walk".

Olivia Needham
Pet Care Assistant
Oldham
"I am a huge animal lover and have had the privilege of looking after many lovely animals over the years, from taking care of my friends/family members whilst they're away and from having my own (current cat mum to a fluffy Norwegian Forest Sunny). I’ve worked in kennels, Rescue Centres and as an Animal Care Assistant, so I'm well-versed in looking after a wide range of animals. I hold a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management (Distinction) as well".
